"I am the Lord Jesus, your Messiah and gentle shepherd. I bless you this day with words that are to be placed within the Words of the Latter Rain and my words are words to help my people to grow in the power of obedience. I have given you words about walking in holiness, and holiness requires a life of righteousness, and you cannot live a life of righteousness, a life pleasing unto me and my Father, without the power of obedience. To be holy you must walk in my will and my desire so you must remain in the light of my presence, and without obedience you will not live a life that is pleasing. Understanding grows in obedience, and faith also grows in obedience, for obedience helps you to remain in my light and it is within my light that you grow in righteousness and holiness. See the truth of my Word as found in Hebrews 11:6-10,   ‘But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  (7)  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.  (8)  By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.  (9)  By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:  (10)  For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.’ Without faith you will not please us for without faith you will lack conviction and a man without conviction will not trust, believe or obey. You must believe in me and my Father, but you must also believe that we are the rewarder of those who diligently seek us, and how can you seek us without the obedience of love? Part of seeking is in acknowledging my Lordship and dominion. If you do not give me dominion you will not walk in faith, for you will not walk in obedience so you will lack understanding. You are called unto light, and you must be children of the light, and how can you be in and of the light without obedience unto my law, my will and my desire?

There is truth found in 1 Peter 1:2, ‘Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.’ You are elect according to the purpose first established, and you are sanctified by my blood and by the indwelling spirit of my Father, but you are sanctified unto obedience. Sanctified means that you are set apart for a sacred and holy purpose, and you are set apart by my blood and by the spirit of my Father, but you must be consecrated unto holiness and sanctified unto glory and this requires righteousness and obedience. My servant Peter understood obedience, righteousness, faith and holiness and his words recorded are words filled with power. Look at the power of 1 Peter 2: 21-24, ‘For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps:  (22)  Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  (23)  Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:  (24)  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.’ I set an example for all mankind and my example was one of obedience, righteousness, faith and holiness. Follow my steps and walk in light and truth. Do not be deceived by the false teachings of men who with their threshing instruments of deceit have taken my clear example and turned my example into that which is not true. I was obedient unto death and I walked in righteousness and holiness. As has been given unto you  why would the single greatest act of obedience known unto man do away with the need for obedience? Why would I sacrifice my life, and live my life free of sin as an offering to make it possible for men to sin and not walk in obedience? I died and I bore your sins so that you can have redemption and restoration, I died so man could be saved from death, but I died so that men could walk in righteousness and obedience, so that men can be free from sin and live unto righteousness. How can you walk righteously without obedience?

There is great power in obedience, for in obedience you give me dominion and in dominion I lead you upon the paths of my choosing. Obedience gives power unto light and in light your prayers have more power for truly our eyes are over the righteous and our ears are open unto the prayers of the righteous. This verse is well known but the final words of 1 Peter 3:12 are of great importance, ‘but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.’  1 Peter 3:12 ‘For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.’ I am against evil for I am holy as my Father is holy and we reward the righteous who walk in obedience and those that have faith. Abraham is called the father of the faithful, and as you saw in Hebrews 11:8, he had faith and his faith is seen in obedience. He obeyed our call to go out of his land and to sojourn in a strange land. He obeyed our will and in obedience his faith grew. Look unto the words of truth found in the words of the blind man who was given sight as recorded in John 9:30-31,  ‘The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.  (31) Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he hears.’ Our eyes are upon the righteous, our ears are open unto the prayers of the righteous and our face is against them that do evil. The words spoken by the man given sight are words of truth. We hear the sinner’s plea, but once you are forgiven you are to sin not and you are to walk in light and truth, and you are to seek the paths of obedience, for how can you worship if you do not believe and can you truly believe without obedience? We hear the prayers and the voice of those who worship us in obedience for it is obedience that seeks to do our will. Obedience leads unto understanding and unto righteousness. I desire obedience and I desire you to surrender your life unto me. Complete surrender and absolute obedience are the pathway unto righteousness and holiness. I end my words by giving you the words of my beloved servant John as recorded in 1 John 2:1-6, ‘My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  (2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  (3)  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  (4)  He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  (5)  But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  (6) He that saith he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.’ Keep my commandments and walk as I walked, walk in obedience.”
