HUNGER AND THIRST

David Nix

Tuesday, 1/15/2013

"I am the Lord Jesus, your Messiah and most tender shepherd. These are words to be placed within the Words of the Latter Rain and are words to give guidance unto my people. I have given my servant words about the light of our glory, and words about truth and understanding and I now give unto him words about the power of hunger and thirst and of the yearning heart.  He is blessed to receive our words and he is dutiful to share what is given with our people. Someday many shall read the words of the latter days and many shall hear our servants declare our words. The words given unto you in recent days speak often about how you must yield, and yield and yield. It is the yearning heart that will hunger and thirst, for you must long to be near unto me and my Father and you must let your longing lead you unto surrender. Hunger and thirst is the power unto the yearning heart and it is the yearning heart that will seek truth, understanding and wisdom. Come unto me all who are weary and I shall give you rest, come unto me all who hunger and thirst and you shall be filled. Yield your life unto me and be broken for in brokenness you shall be filled. I have given many words about how you must seek and how you must yearn and long, but the hunger and thirst of many is still not as strong as I desire. My servant asks to be hungry and thirsty for my truth and for my presence, and I have increased his yearning desire and I have given him a yearning heart, but he knows that his hunger and thirst for truth and righteousness must grow stronger. We must become your greatest need and your greatest desire. It is the yearning heart that will thirst after righteousness and it is the yearning heart that will long to be in our presence always.

See my promise in Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed for they shall be filled. To be filled is the promise and it is a promise unto you in this life. Your yearning, and the groaning of your spirit is while you are in temples of clay. The just seek to walk paths of light, and the just yearn and long to be pleasing unto us, and to live a life that is pleasing you must hunger and thirst for righteousness and you must walk in righteousness. You must have faith in me for faith in me leads unto the righteousness of the Lord God above all things. See the truth found in Romans 3:21-22 and Romans 6:13-18.

Romans 3:21-22  "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  (22)  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference.”

Romans 6:13-18  "Neither yield you your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  (14)  For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace.  (15)  What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.  (16)  Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?  (17)  But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  (18) Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.”

I gave my servant daily words about the righteousness of faith and he discussed them before my people but it is my desire that he place my words here for the righteousness of faith shall come unto the man who yearns, longs, and hungers and thirsts for righteousness.

The Righteousness of Faith

Matthew 17:3-5 "And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him.  (4)  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here, if you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.  (5) While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear you him.”

Ephesians 4:10-12 "He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)  (11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

Romans 4:11-13 "And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also.  (12)  And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.  (13) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.”

‘I am the Lord Jesus, your Messiah and gentle shepherd. I give unto you your daily bread this day. The righteousness of faith is the righteousness of my Father that is by faith in me. Circumcision was a sign of the righteousness of Abraham but his faith was seen prior to his circumcision. Faith comes from righteousness, for it is faith that leads unto obedience and obedience is the pathway unto righteousness. I came unto the earth and I lived a perfect life. The bright cloud of glory was a sign of my righteousness and my faith came first. My faith was seen in my divesting myself of all power and glory to live as a man. This is my desire of you David. To divest yourself of everything you must yield, and yield, and yield and you must surrender all. If you will have faith and yield and surrender I will lead you upon the path of light. Obedience unto every word will bring righteousness. The word "things” in Ephesians 4:10 should be translated as men. I came and I rose up unto glory so that my Father would fill all men. The word "he” in the last part of the verse is the Lord God. I came, and died, and ascended so that my Father would fill men with his indwelling spirit. See the truth in Romans 3:22 "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference.” The righteousness of the Lord God comes by faith in me. You must believe in me and have faith in me. The power of the Lord God came unto me in his cloud of glory. You have access to the cloud of glory but you must have faith. In obedience you will become righteous and faith will grow. Faith in me brings the righteousness of my Father. The promise was through Abraham but it was unto all men by the righteousness of faith, and the righteousness of the Lord God is through faith in me and my faith in you for I am the author and finisher of faith. The cloud of glory and the power of the Great I AM shall overshadow you when you walk in absolute obedience, for obedience is the pathway unto righteousness, and the righteousness of faith comes through belief in me by the power of the Lord God above all.’

I am the author and finisher of your faith so you must stay nigh unto me so that my light and my power can strengthen you. See the power of my words as recorded in John 6:27-35 "Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.  (28)  Then said they unto him, what shall we do, that we might work the works of God?  (29)  Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent.  (30)  They said therefore unto him, what sign show you then, that we may see, and believe you? What dost you work?  (31)  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  (32)  Then Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.  (33)  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.  (34)  Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.  (35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”  There is a place where those who hunger and thirst shall be filled. My servant was given daily words from my Father about hunger and thirst and he is to place some of them here in this message.

‘I am the Eternal Light, the God of light and I am above all things for I am before all things. I speak unto you from the place of my most excellent glory and I give you words of love and words of great power. My beloved Son has given you a heart that yearns for our presence and our light. This change will enable you to go deeper to become one who gathers light and one who walks in the fullness of light and the fullness of our power. You must hunger and thirst for our fullness and you must long, yearn and desire to remain within the light of our presence always. A slothful man will not prosper, but a man with a yearning heart that is rooted in light and goodness shall endeavor to succeed and to be pleasing unto us. Hunger and thirst for light and long and yearn to go deeper still. I give you verses to guide you this day my servant. Proverbs 13:4-6 "The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.  (5)  A righteous man hates lying, but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.  (6) Righteousness keeps him that is upright in the way, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.”  You have desired and you have not received as you desire for you have not been diligent enough, for your hunger and thirst must be great. This is changed by the gift of a yearning heart. Righteousness, light and truth will become your constant delight and all wickedness shall become loathsome unto you and all that you desire will be of heavenly light. If you allow your yearning heart to lead you will never leave our presence. Righteousness will keep you in the ways of light and your hunger and your heart of yearning shall lead you unto everlasting joy, peace and glory. Learn the power of a hunger and thirst for righteousness for a diligent man who is hungry shall prosper.’

My people, do you not see the power of the yearning heart that hungers and thirsts for righteousness? Do you not see how it is the obedient heart that shall seek to stay upon a path of truth that leads unto wisdom and our fullness? You must choose to surrender and to yield and when you are yielded and still I shall lead you upon paths of light and paths of righteousness. You must seek to be righteous and you must yearn to walk in obedience and truth. See the truth the words found in Isaiah 26:7-9 "The way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.  (8)  Yea, in the way of your judgments, O Lord, have we waited for you; the desire of our soul is to your name, and to the remembrance of you.  (9) With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.” Seek me to fill you with heavenly light and seek the place where your hunger and thirst will be filled with the fullness of my presence and the fullness of my glory.”
