GIVE EAR, O LORD

David Nix

"I am the Lord Jesus, your Messiah and gentle shepherd.  These are words to be placed within the Words of the Latter Rain.  My servant of the latter days has completed days of fasting where others come unto his home of light and blessings are given unto all who come to serve me and all who come to give light and strength unto him.  I have spoken words about giving more guidance on some of the messages that were given unto my people.  It is my desire that my servant place some of the words given in a message entitled, ‘Prayers of Influence’ within this message given this day.

Prayers of Influence

‘I am the Lord Jesus, your Savior and gentle shepherd.  These are words of love and guidance for my daughter Marcia.  In my love and mercy I give you words across time and words of my heart. This day by the power of the cloud of glory my servant of the latter days shall cross the ocean of time and shall receive words spoken by a precious daughter.  I bless you with the words of a prayer spoken by our servant Deborah.  She was a judge unto my people in a time of evil and a time of indecision and darkness.  I chose her words for they are words to help you.  She lost her husband and lived alone and she knew the power of giving her life unto me and my Father.  In times of sadness or uncertainty she learned the power of prayer and she would seek our presence. Deborah was a righteous woman and she was blessed with understanding and wisdom.    Her prayer was spoken in a time when she was in doubt and she sought the power of our presence and the power of surrender.  You must seek to see the hidden power in the prayer of Deborah for her words are words of light and words that are more than a casual reading will reveal.’

‘Great Lord in heaven, I bow before you in worship and in love.  You are the Lord above all things and I desire to be near unto you.  This night my heart knows sadness for I see the sins of your people and I desire to be a light of change.  You have blessed me with a position of influence, but as a judge of thy people, that influence is limited.  I can only affect those who come before me.  In surrender I desire you to reveal unto me how I can become a great light.  There is power in position but there is a greater power and it is the power of influence.  How will my prayers grow to a level where your heart will be turned and your mercy will come?  When my husband lived I learned the power of influence, but it was not selfish but was rooted in complete surrender unto him and was rooted in great love.  I did not try to force my will upon him, but I did seek to increase the power of his life.  A woman who serves in love can be a light of goodness and can be a light that brings forth change.

How do I surrender in love to you and how do I affect your heart my Lord?  All my desires must be surrendered unto your will but I know that you want me to express the desires of my heart unto you.  I am but a simple woman, but as your handmaiden and servant, I know that I can bring about a change in the lives of others by my relationship with you.  How does one walk in humility and surrender, for in such a position our power grows for we go deeper into your presence.   I desire my prayers to be a constant light of love and words that shall move your heart.  Reveal unto me Lord the way to speak prayers that bring forth great change.  I am but dust in your sight and have no power, but your ears are open unto my prayers, so my prayers are prayers not of position, but prayers of influence.  Teach me thy ways, oh Lord.’

Your prayers have great power and the power of influence is great power.  The purpose of words is to bring about change, so you must use the power of prayer to bring about change that is of the light.  I desire my servant to place the words of Psalm 60:1 for all to read.  ‘O God, you have cast us off, you have scattered us, you have been displeased, O turn yourself to us again.’  The world needs to turn unto me and my Father, but the world also needs our face to shine upon them and to give ear unto your prayers.  I am the Son of the Most High God and my ears are open unto the cries of the righteous for the righteous cry and we deliver them from all their troubles.  In the prayer of Deborah that was given unto our daughter Marcia, you see that she sought the power of prayers that bring forth change.  She desired to speak words that would turn our face and our heart unto the people of Israel so that our mercy would come upon them.  Many prayers that come before our throne are prayers which seek our mercy.  She desired to be a light of goodness and a light that would bring forth change in others and in the will of heaven.  Our word states that my Father changes not and that I am the same yesterday, today and forever.  These are words of truth for we shall never change from the ways of light, mercy and love.  In us there is no variableness, no muted light, no shadow of turning.  We do not have the fruit of love for we are love.  We do not only show mercy for we are mercy.  If our heart could not be turned, there would be no power in prayer, but we do turn unto those who repent and unto those who cry out unto us for mercy for we do give ear unto the prayers of men.  My Father is the power of eternity for he knows the end from the beginning, and he can change your end, and he can change your beginning.

In her prayer Deborah spoke the words of her heart for she desired to speak prayers that would bring forth change.  She understood that all of her desires were to be surrendered, but she also knew that desires of the heart also must be expressed.  Let her desire become your desire for there is great power in prayer and you must desire prayers that will affect our heart.  We are tender and kind and our goodness fills the earth, so you must cry out and you must seek our face to shine upon you and our ear to be open unto your prayers.  Look to the power found in the words of Deborah’s prayer.  ‘I am but a simple woman, but as your handmaiden and servant, I know that I can bring about a change in the lives of others by my relationship with you.  I desire my prayers to be a constant light of love and words that shall move your heart.  Reveal unto me Lord the way to speak prayers that bring forth great change.’  In her words truth is revealed.  In your relationship with me and my Father you must walk in humility and surrender for as it is written in Psalm 34:18, ‘The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.’  Your position in the light affects the power of your prayers.  You must be nigh unto me and I shall be nigh unto you.  I gave you words that you must be right and true for as it is written, I am nigh unto them that call upon me in truth.

You must surrender your life unto me, and most of all you must surrender your heart unto me.  You are to accept our will, and once our will is known, you must sacrifice your will, but you are allowed to speak the desire of your heart.  Mercy is always within our will, so all prayers of mercy shall be heard.  You must be a constant light, and you must seek our will, and you must yearn and long for our presence.  See the truth found in Psalm 37:4-5, ‘Delight yourself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way unto the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.’  I have revealed unto my people that you are to speak prayers of communion and prayers of intercession.  Communion gives power unto your prayers of intercession.  Come unto me my people and speak the truth found in hearts of love and hearts which seek.  My eyes are upon you and my ears are open unto your prayers.  Prayers of influence are prayers of light spoken from hearts of love, hearts of truth and hearts of goodness.  Put away all wickedness and seek to walk the path of the just for in truth you shall be heard, and in truth you shall receive the petitions of your heart.  Seek the beauty of holiness and seek the beauty and power of our presence.  Look once more unto the words of Deborah’s prayer.  ‘There is power in position, but there is a greater power and it is the power of influence.’  She spoke of the power of position as seen in the power of a judge or the power of a general or king, but the power of position is not a separate power when you seek prayers of influence. It is not your position among men that matters, it is your position in heavenly light for the deeper you are in heavenly light, the more power you shall have in your prayers.  Cry out unto us and seek us to give ear unto your prayers, seek us to turn again unto your nation and unto the people of the earth, and seek our face to shine upon those who are captive for the sighing of the prisoner is before us and our ears are open unto the cries of the righteous.”
