David Nix

On Sunday, February 24, 2008, God blessed me with the gift of prophecy. I was praying in the heavenly language and it was placed into my mind to grab a pen and paper and write down what was given. One of the things given that day was that there was to be a major earthquake occur in the nation of Japan in April of 2008. Later I was told the earthquake would occur on April 21, 2008. I was excited about what was occurring for I was being given specific dates, and was seeing visions of future events. The day after this began I was given this message, “I am the Almighty God in heaven. You are excited David for you feel the power of light within you. The gift of prophecy has been given unto you. Use this gift to spread the gospel and the wonderful message of light. You will soon understand the fullness and power of this gift. You will receive more words spoken within, without our shaking you. The messages to be declared will be given as before, but the word of prophecy is spoken into the mind. You will be able to interpret these words as the gift unfolds. Each word is important.”

This gift is still in its infancy, but I am learning. He has explained to me that some things given are symbolic, and sometimes numbers are to be added together, and there are patterns that I don’t yet fully understand. I was given other things beside the earthquake, but it was the most imminent and seemed to draw the most attention. While none of us wanted to see death and destruction, there was within most of us, just a hint of desire that it would occur to validate these words and this ministry. Due to those thoughts, On March 7, 2008 I received a word from the Almighty God about the earthquake. He spoke into my mind and this is what I wrote in my journal of trust, “We are to pray for mercy. Do we desire the earthquake to occur? Do we desire that great loss of life? We are to pray for mercy instead of desiring these events to occur. Look to the ways of love and mercy.”

I first asked for complete mercy and that the event would not occur. Later, in my pride and foolishness, I sought that the earthquake be diminished or occur in a more remote area. I was not alone in these thoughts and prayers. It was no coincidence that we were told to pray for mercy and that the date for the event was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. Praise God that his hand of mercy was seen, and the earthquake did not occur. Yet within our membership there was disappointment, and embarrassment, for some had told their family members about the quake and they desired it to occur so that their loved ones would see that it was true, and they would seek to have God and Jesus in their lives. On the morning that the quake would have occurred, we were about to return home from our wonderful weekend in Woodruff. I bowed my head and asked God what I should read for my morning reading, and he spoke into my mind and said, “Begin with Matthew Sixteen.” There in verses 1-4 we read about seeking signs. “The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.”

On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, I saw that the earthquake had not occurred and I praised God for his mercy. Some were discouraged and concerned, and the words, “false prophet” were upon some lips. It was that morning that God spoke and gave us a message of great power and one that made me grieve that I had prayed for anything other than complete mercy. His words are in the message entitled, “Words From The Almighty”, It was read to all on Sabbath, April 26, 2008.

I AM that I AM, I am the Great and all powerful God, and I speak unto my people this day through my chosen vessel unto the nations of this earth. Hear my words you who have the spirit of Jonah beating within hearts of pride. Through my servant I declared my words for the nation of Japan to test your spirit of pride. There shall be a great earthquake in the days ahead, for that is my will, and it shall trigger economic loss and political upheaval, but this was a test. It was a test to see if you would pray for mercy, and most of you did, but you prayed for partial mercy. Some asked that it be minimized, and others prayed that only the wicked perish. My servant prayed similar prayers, but the night of Passover changed him, and he prayed for complete mercy upon the nation of Japan and upon your nation, for the loss there will be felt worldwide. I heard his prayers and my hand was stayed, for in my time he shall have great power, as shall my other chosen, and he shall speak, and by my power the rain will stop, and winds shall blow, and mountains shall shake, and fire shall fall as lightning from the sky.

My people, during this week, and on the night of Passover, did you ask for partial mercy? Did you seek partial removal of thy sin? You are the people of light, and you should always desire my will be done, but you should also desire my hand of mercy, for mercy is power over all law. There will be disasters and great sorrow, but you still should always seek my hand of complete mercy. Jonah delivered my words, and when my mercy came, he cursed and was angry, for his pride was the thorn that festered. I desire this message to be read at the end of the service on the Last Day of Unleavened Bread, and then I desire all to go and pray, and to repent for your hearts of pride and your desire to see a sign. You have the sign in your midst, for my chosen one speaks and sings our words. He is the conduit and the portal of mine and my Son’s words. Learn that even a small amount of pride can destroy, for it is leavening and will rise up the clay and cause pride to block the light.

David my servant, it is my will that the 80th parable not be discussed until the Last Day of Unleavened Bread. You discuss my words on meekness and the 63rd parable on Wednesday, and have James and Kenneth speak on the 80th parable. They are to only use the 80th parable and no more than three scriptures. Then you are to read this message. Send this to Kenneth, but tell him he is not to make copies or read any of these words until after his sermon is complete. Henry and Neil shall speak on kindness first. My people shall be plagued by doubt if they are of the spirit of Jonah, and these words will let them see that to ask for partial mercy so a sign can be seen is of pride and of a stony heart. Remember my words, my people, each time you desire mercy. Do you desire absolute mercy or partial mercy? Your prayers shall have great power once you remove the thorn of pride.
THE SIGN, APRIL 26, 2008
As you read in the above message, we were told not to share the words with everyone until the Last Day of Unleavened Bread which was on Saturday, April 26, 2008. That morning in prayer, God shook me and gave us another message that was to be read after everyone completed their individual prayers. It is a short message and a poem. It is very powerful and is entitled, “The Sign.”  “I am the Almighty God in heaven. My mercy falls like rain upon my people, for I see their hearts which seek. Pride is the greatest barrier to my fullness, for pride leads you to defend your actions and words. All of my people failed in that you had desires of the heart to see this sign come about. I have instructed my servants to read these words and a poem to everyone after their prayers are completed. Even after the words given some of you still justified your actions in your prayers. You were wrong to ask for anything less than complete mercy, and if you justified your prayers, then you still have the thorn of pride deep within. Correction hurts a man’s prideful heart. If pride were gone you would seek correction above praise, for you would desire to be a vessel shaped by my hand. Let this day be filled with praise and let your hearts rejoice for I am with you. Learn the lessons of the twelve weeks of reflection and surrender all pride upon my altar. Engraft these words upon your heart, for your hearts must become rooted in goodness so you will always seek mercy over a sign.

The Sign

A traveler walked upon a dusty road and the sun beat down upon his brow,

Oh but that God would send me a cloud to ease the heat of the sun.

The cloud was sent and the man praised the Almighty God for his love and mercy,

The cloud was a sign of love and let the man know he was heard.

Soon the clouds grew in size and became black and full with heavenly rain,

The rain drops fell upon the traveler and he cursed and gathered his arms around.

Dear God, I am now wet and cold, please stop the rain and send the sun,

The rain stopped and the sun shined brightly, and the man smiled with joy.

The traveler stopped to spend the night in the forest by a mountain stream,

He drank of the cold water and was refreshed and was content.

He awoke with the moon shining upon his face and it was very bright,

Oh God, send me a cloud as a canopy so that the light will be dim.

A cloud was sent and the man rejoiced in the sign of God’s love,

He was pleased that the heavenly Father heard his prayers for comfort.

Later he awoke to the sound of the birds singing and asked that they might be silent,

In the forest without sound he slept and was content with the sign of love.

The farmer stands in the midst of his field, his crops need sunshine to grow,

The Miller sits near his mill and prays for rain to fill the mighty river.

The farmer prays for rain to fall, for his crops wilt in the summer’s heat,

The fishermen cry out for mercy, for the moon is not shining upon the sea.

A sign was sought and a sign was given, and one man rejoiced and praised,

A sign was given and many suffered and cried out for mercy and love.

Can there be signs given that will not affect the world around you?

There is a sign that will benefit all of man; it is the sign of love and mercy.

The sign came unto the one and he rejoiced for he was full of pride,

The sign came and others suffered, but did the man consider their need?

In selfish pride do you seek comfort and care for you and those you love?

The greatest sign given is my Son; always seek the sign of love and mercy.
